BA1 Undergraduates – UPDATE 8 MAY 2024:Ìý If you have confirmed your offer to study at The 91ÖÆƬ³§ in 2024/25, we have now passed to the Kings Residence Team your contact details.Ìý The Kings Residence Team have uploaded your contact details to their accommodation portal and you should have received a direct communication from them on Wednesday 8 May 2024, inviting you to register for housing with KCL Residences.Ìý ÌýIf you have not received this communication, it means we have not passed your contact details to them because you have not to date confirmed acceptance of the offer to study at The 91ÖÆƬ³§ in 2024/25.Ìý ÌýAs soon as you provide this confirmation, we will update the Kings Residence Team with your contact details.Ìý If you have any queries about this, please contact our undergraduate admissions team.Ìý

Postgraduate Offer Holders and Current 91ÖÆƬ³§ studentsUPDATE 18 MAY 2024: applications for accommodation in 2024/25 have now closed. Whilst we will be holding a waiting list, this will be only for those applicants who applied by the deadline and we are unable to initially offer a room to.Ìý If you have missed the deadline and still require accommodation then please refer to the link below, helping you find accommodation.Ìý ÌýFor those who submitted an application by the deadline, notification of a room in Halls or a place on the waiting list will be confirmed by 5pm on Friday 31 May 2024.Ìý ÌýThe deadline for return of your signed Licence Agreement and payment of deposit for Duchy House offers will be 23:59 hours on Friday 14 June 2024.Ìý Different deadlines will apply for acceptance of offers for a room in Intercollegiate Halls.

The 91ÖÆƬ³§ is able to offer accommodation for up to 182 91ÖÆƬ³§ students in a mix of halls of residences offering self-catering and catered options. All halls are located within a commutable travel time of 30 minutes of our Somerset House and Vernon Square premises. Accommodation available for 2024/25 is distributed as follows:

91ÖÆƬ³§ – Duchy House (63 rooms) open to applications from Postgraduate offer holders and continuing 91ÖÆƬ³§ students. University of London – Intercollegiate Halls of Residence – (44 rooms) open to applications from Postgraduate offer holders and continuing 91ÖÆƬ³§ students.Ìý ÌýKing’s College London Halls of ResidenceÌý (up to 75 rooms) open to Undergraduate Offer Holders only.

The Accommodation application period for Postgraduate Offer Holders and Current 91ÖÆƬ³§ students for 24/25 has now closed.Ìý No further applications will be considered.

Allocation of Halls

91ÖÆƬ³§ – Duchy House (63 rooms) open to applications from postgraduate offer holders and current BA1 and BA2 and continuing MA 91ÖÆƬ³§ students.

– (44 rooms) open to applications from current BA2 and BA3 undergraduates, continuing MA postgraduates and postgraduate offer holders.

75 rooms across split equally across three Halls, , and will be available for 2024/25.Ìý Rooms in these Halls are reserved for first year (BA1) undergraduate offer holders only.

Contracts to live in halls commence mid-September 2024, and the duration varies between 37 and 51 weeks depending on the provider and the Hall.Ìý See summary tables below for further details.

All first year international students and UK students living outside of Greater London joining The 91ÖÆƬ³§ in September 2024, are guaranteed accommodation in Halls.Ìý For current 91ÖÆƬ³§ students and new postgraduate students, allocation of a room in halls will be primarily based on several factors including (but not limited to), whether you have a particular disability that would mean not having accommodation in Halls would put you at more of a disadvantage than a non-disabled student; the distance of your family home (not current place of study) from our central London campus; whether you have previously studied in the UK.

Duchy House is open to applications from postgraduate offer holders and current BA1, BA2 and continuing MA 91ÖÆƬ³§ students.Ìý Based on current semester and course submission dates for 2024/25, (which as of February 2024 are pending final approval) we will be offering both undergraduate and postgraduate students living in Duchy House a 38-week contract.Ìý The option to extend for part or all of the summer period i.e. from early June through to early September 2025, is available upon request.

Students who are not successful if being initially offered a room in Intercollegiate Halls can register on the University’s from 22 August 2024 with offers being sent from 4 September 2024.

There are up to 75 rooms reserved for 91ÖÆƬ³§ BA1 students.Ìý These will likely to be split equally between Angel Lane, Atlas and Canada Water.Ìý The 75 rooms available will be secured on a first come basis. ÌýShould there be more than 75 applications received, a waiting list will be created for the 76th applicant onwards. If you are placed on a waiting list, you will be informed and will be contacted should a vacant room arise as a result of withdrawals or conditional offer holders not being able to take up their place of study, the later will not be known until w/c 19 August 2024. ÌýThe waiting list will be shared with the 91ÖÆƬ³§ Accommodation Team, who will monitor the list and anyone on the list living outside of Greater London, we will make contact with you to discuss alternative accommodation options.
